Department of Civil Engineering

The Department of Civil Engineering started its journey in the year 2008 with Bachelor of Engineering degree with an intake of 60 students. Now, the departments is running BE degree with an intake of 180 students and 2 PG programs (M.Tech Structural Engineering and M.Tech Geotechnical Engineering) with an intake of 18 students each which were started in the year 2010-11.

The department is also a VTU recognized R&D center and is working in good pace for the development of the society and nation.

The department consists of good infrastructure and laboratory facilities to cater the requirements of the industry to bring out good civil engineers. Under the banner of Civil Engineering Association (CEA), department hosts many guest lectures, seminars and workshops to prepare the students as per industry requirements. The dedicated teaching faculty of the department emphasize on the practical application of the knowledge by conducting group discussions and technical trips every year.
