Master of Computer Applications is a post-graduate course with an intake of 60, it is a two-year program spread over four semesters. The inception of the MCA program at EWIT was in the year 2008 designed to nurture multidisciplinary UG graduates into high-quality professionals and the department is affiliated to VTU and AICTE has approved an intake of 60. This course is designed for students who wish to explore a career either as a step towards Ph.D. or IT Industry. The program aims to tap the potential of young talented minds for challenging IT opportunities.
MCA Department is a blend of enthusiastic youngsters and a group of experienced, committed, and dedicated staff and experts with an enviable infrastructure. The first batch of MCA rolled out in the year 2011 and subsequent batches have resulted in top-class alumni and entrepreneurs. The MCA program at EWIT has emerged as one of the top priorities for students opting at PGCET and KMAT.

The Department of MCA has well equipped laboratories, Digital Department Library, Seminar Hall, Smart Class room, NPTEL video lecture Class, E- Shikshana Class. The laboratories have more than 215 High-end systems of latest configurations and all systems are connected to LAN with Internet connectivity. The Dept have all the software tools and Technologies as per the curriculum required and also as per the current requirements of the Industry.
